Bath times and Birthday parties

Do you like our crazy hair, soon it will be time for our first haircut, hopefully we like haircuts more than our brother. Jackson hates getting his hair cut.


Next is a few pictures of our birthday party this past Saturday, mom and dad did such a great job throwing our party. We had so much fun. Mom and dad had lots of friends over for us and we got to eat lots of food, eat yummy cake, stay up late, and dance while the adults played rockband. It was so fun, what a memorable 1st b-day. We have also put our happy birthday song video's at the end for our grandma's and grandpa's. Grandma and Grandpa Bowering are in Russia and Grandma and Grandpa Herman are on a cruise to the Panama Canal, we missed you guys so these video's are for you :) Enjoy the pics.

Here we are eating with our girlfriend Jessie, we had her sit in the middle of us so there would be no arguing on who got to sit closer to her.

Here are our older friends, thanks Josiah, Victoria, and Abbey, for coming to party, we sure love you guys. Thanks Jackson for being a great big brother.

I had 2 cakes for the party. I was going to make both cakes but after chatting with John he thought it would be best if we bought one and I made one. Don't tell him, but he was right. I think it was better stress wise for me to order one. I return to work in one week so I have been a bit stressed but all will work out just fine. This lion cake was a big hit and thank you to Safeway for making it :)

Here is the ferris wheel cake I made. It's called Wheely Deliciouis :) I had so much fun making this cake and I think it turned out really great.

Hi All, Hope Everyone is keeping well and that life is treating everyone good. Once again its been awhile since we have written a little story. I cannot believe how fast time is going and that soon March will be over, its crazy to me. Life in the Bowering household is very good. Work is going well for John and myself. Jackson is doing GREAT. He still isn't walking but I am convinced he totally knows how to do it independently but I think he thinks..(man life is great, my mommy and daddy carry me around everywhere) He walks along the walls and furniture and climbs up and down the stairs but soon he will walking independently. Jackson is quite the talker he says ALOT of words, and they are very clear, his favourite words are bubble, cookies, mommy, dad, apple, ball, bull, puppy... that's just a few he can say more. he is also signing quite a bit. Jackson's Big Boy Room

Hi Everyone!!! Well I'm surprised I have another blog up so quickly. I guess I am just excited about Jackson's room. The last weekend in September we headed to Fargo with our friends and had a great time, hanging out and shopping. Then for Canadian Thanksgiving we headed to Minot to see my family which was nice b/c that will probably be the last time I see them before the babies arrive. We had alot of good fun in Minot, ate alot of good food and I enjoyed shopping with my sisters. Jackson is doing well, he has taken a couple of tumbles down the stairs and now looks at the basement stairs saying "boom boom" "stair fell". We think falling once at home and once at Aunt Valerie's will give him a greater appreciation of the stairs. Like I said at the start, we are so excited that Jackson's big boy room is done. He no longer sleeps in a crib and although it makes me smile to see him being such a big boy, I'm a little sad to see how fast he is gro

Happy Halloween

Hi Everyone, well I am taking advantage of the time change, we have been up since 6am (I know most of you will say, well really thats 7am) but 6am is 6am. The boys do not care about the time change. So as they are watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I am updating the blog, finally!!!! Life again has been very busy for us and I don't think it is slowing down any time soon. Hudson and Oliver are now in there big boy beds - they look so little in those big beds. They are doing well with the transition and we still have more accessories to add to their room but after many hours of painting, the mural is finished!!!! I think it turned out awesome and am so glad we did it. Halloween is also finished and the kids got 4 huge bowls filled with candy, it was crazy - I never remembered getting this much candy as a kid!!!! They are set for a long time. John's b-day is coming up so we will go out most likely to a pizza place on his actual b-day and then we will have a family party later on. So
