The Adventures of Boyband CraZyTown

 How beautiful!  I was a bit awestruck at this path we hiked on.  It was so still and peaceful. Snow everywhere, truly beautiful.  We walked along the path and had lots of fun taking turn being the leader in Narnia!!  Oliver taking a break!!  Hudson and mom, loving every minute!  Grandma Bowering and the gang!  Grandpa Bowering and the gang!  A farther back shot, you can see the lake in the background!! Time to head back and have some chili!

 Christmas Eve service at our church, here we are lighting the Advent Candles  Santa left the boys a sled and a hockey table!!!  We spent a few days at the cottage this year, what a great time, hiking, having fun... these aren't all the pictures, I plan to upload more soon. Hudson on a hike, Jackson, close behind!  Oliver and Dad - 2 cool dudes!  Making the trek up the hill!!  Hudson again!  Taking a slow spin on the ski doo!  Cleared off some ice to play hockey with grandma and grandpa!  Resting after a long hike, it was beautiful, the trail was all covered over with trees and snow, it was a winter wonderland, so beautiful, loved every minute of it! Enjoying hot chocolate in fancy mugs!!

Look at this handsome dude, all ready for his Christmas concert at school. Jackson you did such an amazing job, and I loved how you kept what you were doing a secret.  I was so proud of you on your last song that you did in sign language :)  Way to go, I understood everything you signed!!!  So proud of you!!

 A well deserved treat after adding all the sprinkles to the sugar/shortbread cookies....wait a second... how does Dad get to sneak in this picture...... I don't recall seeing him add any sprinkles  ;)  Oliver telling me the best part is the sprinkles!  Jackson said the best part was the icing - cream cheese icing  YUM!!!  Hudson said his favourite part was both the icing and the sprinkles!!! Annual Christmas picture, we had some rough spots with the boys taking this shot but all in all it turned out well!!  Can't wait to have the fire going on Christmas morning, very excited. We are incredibly blessed, 2012 has been a wonderful year for us.  We have nothing to complain about, life is very very good!!! :)

Getting ready to decorate the tree, with popcorn and hot chocolate in paper Starbucks cups that the store gave me.  I have to tell you I love decorating our tree, I complain sometimes b/c John (being the extremist, that he is...) always chooses the biggest tree.  But this year I was very thankful to have such a large tree b/c we always have so many ornaments and we fit them all on this year. Merry Christmas!!! It's going to be a good one!!

 A Star Wars Themed Party was ordered for this soon to be 7 year old.  Here are the light sabers... the kids loved them!!  Star Wars Coloured Cupcakes!!!  Another big hit!!  Eating subs from subway, drinking pop ... having a great time!!! Jackson I love how excited you are in this picture!! A great time had by all!!

 I made this dessert for an early Christmas dinner with Bowerings. I got a mold to make the chocolate cups, they were very easy to make, then filled half with chocolate hazelnut mousse and the others with chocolate raspberry mousse :) Family shot, missing Uncle Jamie, good times and good food!

 Every year Halloween gets easier and easier as the boys get older. This year they loved trick or treating, they couldn't get enough and wanted to go to more and more houses!  What troopers. Oliver as "Mad Batman", Jackson as Darth Vader,and Hudson as the Hulk :) I loved every minute of this Halloween Boys, Love you!!    Annual Halloween bash at our friends Jonathan and Karen's place, the kids were having some deep conversations over their dinner :)  Enjoying a special treat from Karen - Coke in a glass bottle :)  Ready to head out and get some candy! Mom, I promise I'll eat it all !!!

Halloween would not be complete without the yearly tradition of caramel apples.  These seemed to be a bit more difficult to make this year, I am not sure why.... it's a bit of a crazy week for me, so maybe that's way... at any rate, can't wait to enjoy these with some great friends. Flavours include, reeces pieces with caramel, caramel with oreo crumbs, plain, caramel with skor, caramel white chocolate w/cinnamon and sugar, and white chocolate with skor - no caramel! 

 Nothing Says Halloween like PacMan :)   Next year we'll add Miss PacMan :) Jackson wanted a pumpkin that was on fire! Stay Tuned for Costume pics!

I recovered a cardboard drawer system that I had in Star Wars scrapbooking paper. I think it turned out fairly well, Jackson loves this in his room, on top of his desk!!!

Now before you say anything, yes, I realize this robe is waay too big on Jackson but... he has been asking me for a robe for a long time, he keeps saying "I just want to wake up on Saturday morning, put on my robe and sit on the couch"... So I couldn't resist this old school Winnipeg Jets robe that I found yesterday at Value Village, after being washed I gave it to Jackson, he was so excited he could hardly stand it, he put it on and said "I feel like I Jedi Warrior in this robe", after picking him up from school today, we walked home and he said.."i can't wait to get home, and put on my robe :)"  Love you Jackson

It's been awhile that there's been a picture of just John and I. Love you John!

 Here are  2 of my super heroes!!!   Batman Oliver and Superman Hudson!! We spent Canadian Thanksgiving in ND at my sisters house!  Jackson and Travis!! The boys had so much fun with Travis!  Got to spend some time with my university gal pal Jess and her family. Jess the boys loved every minute at Planet Pizza, thanks for the great visit, glad we got both our families together!!!  Gaming at their cousin's Riker's b-day party!!  Hudson seems confused as to why I'm interrupting his video game!  Oliver is very focused, that is how I will be in about 10 minutes when I head to TARGET!!!  Jackson loving the video games as well!!!  Bedtime, can you say double trouble!!!  A beautiful fall day at Papa's Pumpkin Patch in Bismarck, North Dakota!  Hudson and dad being very silly!!!  All the cousins at the top!!  I love this picture!!  climbing the logs!  Too much fun!
