The Adventures of Boyband CraZyTown

Well, Hudson and Oliver's party is about to begin in 3 hours.  I thought I would post their cakes.  This one is Creeper cupcakes - they wanted a Minecraft themed party - a video game they love playing with Jackson and John.  These were so much fun to make! Here is the Minecraft cake, complete with dirt, sand, water and lava - they haven't seen it yet, so I can't wait to see their expressions!   Minecraft candy bar. Each candy represents some of the things from Minecraft - they filled a jar and got to take it home!   Lots of fun, thanks to all who helped, I really appreciate it :)

We had a fabulous Christmas.  We felt incredibly blessed this year.  We had a wonderful Christmas.  Great time with family and friends.  Wishing you all the best in 2014!! This picture is the start of Christmas morning, just starting with our stockings. Boys got minecraft lego and minecraft shirts from Santa and a lego table!  Jackson about to start a 800 piece lego set, he is excited!  Hudson with Riley at Christmas dinner.  Oliver and Riley!  Despite the freezing weather, we had a great time at the cottage.  Lots of relaxing, great food, great adventures.   We had such a great time out here with grandma and grandpa Bowering!  Bundle up Boys.  Jackson taking a shot  John and Jackson  A view of the cottage   Out on a hike  Oliver finding a stick for the fort! Oliver in the fort!

So I am not sure if I have ever mentioned this but I love Pete the Cat - Pete the Cat is part of a book series that I use to teach in my classroom.   My friend Cindi got this shirt for me and I love it!    Here are the boys enjoying Friday night movies and popcorn with lots of butter and ranch seasoning!   Hudson - so proud  - first tooth gone.  Poor Oliver still hasn't lost a tooth - we keep assuring him it will fall out soon.   Jackson turned 8 - here is is Winnipeg Jets Jersey cake - it was a great party, lots of noise and fun on the backyard rink! Oliver and Hudson ready for their first school concert.  They were asked to dress fancy - Jackson didn't want to be in the picture but I will get a shot of all 3 at the Christmas eve service!

I got to have a date night with these 2 cuties.  We went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.... Hudson and Oliver loved it, we had a fabulous time!  At the Jets game, look how close he is to the ice.... John was given JETS tickets by the Vice President of MPI - in recognition of his hard work, dedication to his job and going the extra mile. Way to Go John.  Glad you got to enjoy this game and have a night out with Jackson!  Best buds!!  Jackson was so excited to be so close to the JETS - he was on TV many times that evening and he even got on the jumbotron :) Getting a pic with Montoya So excited!!

John and I rarely get a photo together, so I thought I'd post this one, getting ready for a date night!! love you John XOXO
