Hi Everyone - We LOVE summer. Since I've last been here we have been having fun in cottage land. First was father's day and that was great - we spoiled dad - he got a bocce set, crocket set, 2 XBOX games, the XBOX play and charge kit, and a book called McMafia,and a nice lounging lawn chair - oh yes and the "dad" willow tree angel b/c he needed to be represented in my collection - dad was really spoiled and had a great day and John had a great 20 oz steak!!! We also spent some time at my sister and brother in law's cottage at Lake Metigoshe that was alot of fun, the weather was great and the kids had soo much fun. Then the last weekend in June we spent our first weekend of the year at our cottage, for those of you who don't know where it is, it is in Lake of the Woods, which is in Ontario. Summer is Here!

  Here we are all ready to celebrate Canada Day.  We had friends over for burgers at lunch time, then went to other friends for a dinner bbq and then out for fireworks.  It was a fabulous day!     The boys decided at our friends house that they needed to dress up, so of course I took pictures.  These are great for their wedding day!!  Here is Oliver and Jackson, and Hannah.  Before they dressed up they did their own Canada Day facepaint, it got pretty crazy!   Hudson was so happy about this, I can't say the same for John ;)   This past week the boys had their friend over.  Jackson wanted to let him use his Backstreet Boys notebook.  Really it was his Beatles notebook.  I thought I better start Boyband 101.  Here is Jackson with a John Lennon doll ;) And of course FIREWORKS. Here is a necklace I just got, it has the boys names written on the heart, click on the pick to see a bigger version. I absolutely love it, it is from The Vintage Pearl!!!! Here is a shirt we got for Jackson, just like his daddy!!! If you click on the pick you can see the food groups are pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza :) Here are a few shots of our family. Most recently was Jackson graduating from his first year of Wee College. Wee College is a weekly Sunday School Program at our church for 4 and 5 year olds. Jackson has completed his first year. We are so thankful to Grandma and Grandpa Bowering for taking Jackson each week to this program. John and I work, so we are unable to take him. Jackson has learned so much in this year and we are so proud of him. Jackson loves going each Tuesday with Grandma and Grandpa, he enjoys spending time with them and having some interesting conversations, every once in awhile they treat him to Wendy's (his choice).
