Autumn Fun

Here are more pictures of what has been happening in our life since I last blogged. Aunt Cathy came to visit and we were very excited to see her!! She spent one evening with us and we had a great time eating a good meal, playing outside on the trampoline, and going for a walk to get a coffee and some ice cream, we really miss her and Jackson is anxiously awaiting the day he can go on an airplane to see Aunt Cathy :)

I went to the spa last week for an appointment that lasted 2 3/4 hours - it was FANTASTIC - I think I should go every month - it was a well deserved break. LOVED IT !

We spent one weekend at our friends Jonathan and Karen's cottage and that was GREAT, it was sooo peaceful and relaxing to be in the outdoors in the beautiful autumn weather! The kids had fun exploring and going for walks outdoors and we had a great time watching movies and eating delicious food.

I also took care of my niece and nephew for one week while my sister was at a conference in Reno, so it was John and Nola + 5 ... we had a great time and it was a busy household but we had tons of fun, it was a bit quieter when they left and I was sad to see them go.

We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and then Halloween, Jackson gets sooo excited for Halloween, I can't wait for you all to see their Halloween costumes. Until then enjoy the pics and I will blog again soon.

Jackson, my niece Lauren, and my nephew Riker - they all look a bit worn out, they always woke up EARLY and played hard, then crashed in the afternoon.



Here we are at the cottage Hudson, Oliver, Jessie, Jackson, and Josiah - all great buds and Jessie will be well looked after with all these boys :)

I love the last picture :D How do you remember to get family pics in with all the busyness? We took some on the weekend, and none turned out good enough for a Christmas card, so we'll have to try again...

Hi All, Hope Everyone is keeping well and that life is treating everyone good. Once again its been awhile since we have written a little story. I cannot believe how fast time is going and that soon March will be over, its crazy to me. Life in the Bowering household is very good. Work is going well for John and myself. Jackson is doing GREAT. He still isn't walking but I am convinced he totally knows how to do it independently but I think he thinks..(man life is great, my mommy and daddy carry me around everywhere) He walks along the walls and furniture and climbs up and down the stairs but soon he will walking independently. Jackson is quite the talker he says ALOT of words, and they are very clear, his favourite words are bubble, cookies, mommy, dad, apple, ball, bull, puppy... that's just a few he can say more. he is also signing quite a bit. Jackson's Big Boy Room

Hi Everyone!!! Well I'm surprised I have another blog up so quickly. I guess I am just excited about Jackson's room. The last weekend in September we headed to Fargo with our friends and had a great time, hanging out and shopping. Then for Canadian Thanksgiving we headed to Minot to see my family which was nice b/c that will probably be the last time I see them before the babies arrive. We had alot of good fun in Minot, ate alot of good food and I enjoyed shopping with my sisters. Jackson is doing well, he has taken a couple of tumbles down the stairs and now looks at the basement stairs saying "boom boom" "stair fell". We think falling once at home and once at Aunt Valerie's will give him a greater appreciation of the stairs. Like I said at the start, we are so excited that Jackson's big boy room is done. He no longer sleeps in a crib and although it makes me smile to see him being such a big boy, I'm a little sad to see how fast he is gro

Happy Halloween

Hi Everyone, well I am taking advantage of the time change, we have been up since 6am (I know most of you will say, well really thats 7am) but 6am is 6am. The boys do not care about the time change. So as they are watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I am updating the blog, finally!!!! Life again has been very busy for us and I don't think it is slowing down any time soon. Hudson and Oliver are now in there big boy beds - they look so little in those big beds. They are doing well with the transition and we still have more accessories to add to their room but after many hours of painting, the mural is finished!!!! I think it turned out awesome and am so glad we did it. Halloween is also finished and the kids got 4 huge bowls filled with candy, it was crazy - I never remembered getting this much candy as a kid!!!! They are set for a long time. John's b-day is coming up so we will go out most likely to a pizza place on his actual b-day and then we will have a family party later on. So
