Hi All, Hope Everyone is keeping well and that life is treating everyone good. Once again its been awhile since we have written a little story. I cannot believe how fast time is going and that soon March will be over, its crazy to me. Life in the Bowering household is very good. Work is going well for John and myself. Jackson is doing GREAT. He still isn't walking but I am convinced he totally knows how to do it independently but I think he thinks..(man life is great, my mommy and daddy carry me around everywhere) He walks along the walls and furniture and climbs up and down the stairs but soon he will walking independently. Jackson is quite the talker he says ALOT of words, and they are very clear, his favourite words are bubble, cookies, mommy, dad, apple, ball, bull, puppy... that's just a few he can say more. he is also signing quite a bit. Wow I can't believe how much fun I had this summer. I did lots of things, I am all tuckered out from the fun. I have been growing very fast, I'm already 9 months old. I love ice cream, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mom even gave me a taste of her french fries, but shhhhhh don't tell dad. Have fun reading about our summer, hope you like the pictures. I LOVE the water and swimming and taking baths are so much fun. Well it has been awhile since John and I have done anything with this blog. We have had a busy summer so now that we are actually home, we can try to make more regular updates! Our summer was mostly spent relaxing at the cottage at Lake of the Woods. We had a fantastic time. Jackson absolutely loves the water. He did lots of swimming, went for a canoe ride, tried to help with fishing, and took walks in the sand. I've had a two hour nap since Saturday morning so I'm going to try keep this brief and too the point. On Saturday night Nola's contractions came out of nowhere. They started at about 9:20pm and by 10:30 they were 10 min apart. By the time we got to the hospital a little after 11pm they were 5 min apart. After checking her out, they rushed us in to the O.R. as if the twins were going to explode out of Nola at any second. All the doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists etc were ready and waiting.... and waiting... and waiting... After 5 hours of the twins just about being born the doctor decided that things had stalled and announced that we would be having a c-section. They kicked me out of the room, put Nola under and about 1o minutes later at about 4:05 am on January 13, Hudson John Bowering arrived in this world at 6 pounds, 13 ounces. And it was only 60 seconds after that that Oliver Finn Bowering made his entrance at 6 pounds 3 ounces (both were 21 inches long). I go...
