Hi Everyone - We LOVE summer. Since I've last been here we have been having fun in cottage land. First was father's day and that was great - we spoiled dad - he got a bocce set, crocket set, 2 XBOX games, the XBOX play and charge kit, and a book called McMafia,and a nice lounging lawn chair - oh yes and the "dad" willow tree angel b/c he needed to be represented in my collection - dad was really spoiled and had a great day and John had a great 20 oz steak!!! We also spent some time at my sister and brother in law's cottage at Lake Metigoshe that was alot of fun, the weather was great and the kids had soo much fun. Then the last weekend in June we spent our first weekend of the year at our cottage, for those of you who don't know where it is, it is in Lake of the Woods, which is in Ontario. Autumn Fun

Here are more pictures of what has been happening in our life since I last blogged. Aunt Cathy came to visit and we were very excited to see her!! She spent one evening with us and we had a great time eating a good meal, playing outside on the trampoline, and going for a walk to get a coffee and some ice cream, we really miss her and Jackson is anxiously awaiting the day he can go on an airplane to see Aunt Cathy :) I went to the spa last week for an appointment that lasted 2 3/4 hours - it was FANTASTIC - I think I should go every month - it was a well deserved break. LOVED IT ! We spent one weekend at our friends Jonathan and Karen's cottage and that was GREAT, it was sooo peaceful and relaxing to be in the outdoors in the beautiful autumn weather! The kids had fun exploring and going for walks outdoors and we had a great time watching movies and eating delicious food. Here is a necklace I just got, it has the boys names written on the heart, click on the pick to see a bigger version. I absolutely love it, it is from The Vintage Pearl!!!! Here is a shirt we got for Jackson, just like his daddy!!! If you click on the pick you can see the food groups are pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza :) Here are a few shots of our family. Most recently was Jackson graduating from his first year of Wee College. Wee College is a weekly Sunday School Program at our church for 4 and 5 year olds. Jackson has completed his first year. We are so thankful to Grandma and Grandpa Bowering for taking Jackson each week to this program. John and I work, so we are unable to take him. Jackson has learned so much in this year and we are so proud of him. Jackson loves going each Tuesday with Grandma and Grandpa, he enjoys spending time with them and having some interesting conversations, every once in awhile they treat him to Wendy's (his choice).
