Hi Everyone!!!! Yes I know what you must be thinking..... and yes, it is about time I have done a new post. Honestly, life has been busy for us. But we are thankful that summer is here and we are loving our time at the cottage. Things with us have been great, no complaints here. Jackson is home from daycare for the summer, I am so thankful to have the time with him and just realize how much I miss him. Jackson is finally walking, he decided to finally give it a try at the very end of June. Jackson has always been a very laid back, relaxed boy. I think he gets it from his dad. I can just see it when he is a teenager..."Jackson please clean your room"...." don't worry mom, its not messy, chill out, it will be fine"...... "Jackson don't you have an essay to be working on"......."don't worry mom, its not due for another 2 weeks!!!!!" I am happy that he takes his time with things, it definitely gives him his own little personality...

So I have been tagged by Ali ( http://www.alikatmb.blogspot.com/ ) . I am suppose to tell you all why it is that I started blogging. Well that answer is simple, see the picture below : We felt that we wanted to show the world our amazing son!!!! Also, this way people can check back as often as they want to see what is new in our lives and then I'm not bombarding people with emails with tons of attatched pics. My husband John, started this blog, he is very technologically wise. He knows so much about computers. So when we first started our blog, I would just sit beside him at the computer, tell him which pictures I wanted and then he would set up the post screen and I would write my little blurb and he would take care of the rest. He started encouraging me to do this myself and once I saw how EASY it was, I was hooked. I would like to post more blog entries but with work and a toddler keeping me so busy I only get posts up every once in awhile. I love reading many blogs daily and...

Hi Everyone I trust everyone is doing well. Well spring is finally here. We just love the great weather. We finally have been able to break in the new wagon and Jackson absolutely loves it. We have been busy here in the Bowering household. About 3 weeks ago we went to Minot, North Dakota to see my sister and her family. We had a great time with them and the cousins sure enjoyed playing together. Following our trip was my spring break. John also took the week off. John and his dad were busy with the basement building the new walls, roughing in the plumbing for our new bathroom, putting up the new exterior walls, the new pantry and getting ready to put in new insulation. Let me tell you it was pretty scary the morning I left to go out and here comes John with this jackhammer and telling me how awesome it is going to be. Hi All, Hope Everyone is keeping well and that life is treating everyone good. Once again its been awhile since we have written a little story. I cannot believe how fast time is going and that soon March will be over, its crazy to me. Life in the Bowering household is very good. Work is going well for John and myself. Jackson is doing GREAT. He still isn't walking but I am convinced he totally knows how to do it independently but I think he thinks..(man life is great, my mommy and daddy carry me around everywhere) He walks along the walls and furniture and climbs up and down the stairs but soon he will walking independently. Jackson is quite the talker he says ALOT of words, and they are very clear, his favourite words are bubble, cookies, mommy, dad, apple, ball, bull, puppy... that's just a few he can say more. he is also signing quite a bit. Okay Okay.... I know it's been a long time since I last posted on here but things have been crazy since Christmas. First of all the week before Christmas we all got sick with the flu and now since Christmas has finished we have all had colds with Jackson taking the worst of it. He has been sick since Christmas and he just finally finished his antibiotics and has gotten another virus. He was suppose to get his shots last week but couldn't b/c he was spiking a fever all week, so we will see if he can get them this week. All in all our Christmas break was fantastic, we were spoiled by Santa and it was great. My whole family was here for a few days and then we spent Christmas with John's family. We also went to North Dakota for New Years and that was a lot of fun. Our next big event will be taking Jackson this week, if we can, to get his first hair cut, I really like his shaggy do, but it needs a little trim, so we hope to post more pics soon of that outing.
